Instead of answering questions Spicer went on a lengthy rant against recent reporting
In his first outing as the new White House press secretary Sean Spicer got out there in the front of the media, harshly berated them for their 'dishonest' reporting, then turned on his heels and left.
This was a completely different kind of performance than we're used to from Obama years, who of course had the media eating from his hand.

The message was inescapable. Trump's White House is telling the media, which worshipped at the feet of Hilary Clinton, to shape up and start treating the new presidency with a modicum of fairness or else they will have a war on their hands and they will not like it.
