Israel expressing its frustration that prospective Western attack on Syria has been postponed
The US, France and Britain will have welcomed Putin appeasing Erdogan, and by extension the West, and calling off (at least for now) offensive to retake Idlib from al-Qaeda and other Islamist militants by force. They have no reason to lash out. Israel meanwhile does.
Most likely Israel was hoping the offensive would happen and salivating over the prospect it would lead to Western missiles attacks on Syria, at which point Israel would have joined in with attacks of its own. Since now the offensive may never happen the IDF lashed out and fired off its volley anyway.
