KIEV, April 7. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko earned 369 million hryvnia (about $16 million) last year, the presidential press office reported on Tuesday.
At the same time, the Poroshenko family members received an income of just 36,000 hryvnia ($1,500). Poroshenko received most of his income (345 million hryvnia or $15 million) in the form of dividends and interest. He received 11.2 million hryvnia ($480,000) last year as income "from the sale of securities and corporate rights," the presidential press office said.
Poroshenko pledged to sell his business assets after he was elected the head of state in May last year.
