Time to throw the bums out

I agree with Richard Spencer that Tucker Carlson's 1-man stand against the rest of the media's full court press for war could make him into a national, nay international super-hero. He's like the little Dutch Boy, single-handedly holding back the deluge. If we avoid war, he can take credit for saving the world, literally.

For now, watch how he completely destroyed this clueless swamp critter senator from Mississippi, Roger Wicker, on Monday evening.

I was listening to Mike Enoch yesterday, and he mentioned that Wicker is something like the 5th largest recipient of pro-Israel lobbying largesse. I wasn't able to verify that with a quick web search, but I suspect it is true, because the good senator was eager to blurt out in the first few seconds of the interview, that the US interest in attacking Syria is because Israel wants us to, no further reason needed, really. Seriously, that is what he said. Listen for yourself.

You can almost hear the senator's cash register in the background going 'kaching, kaching', and elsewhere some AIPAC functionary is nodding and smiling, - another investment paying off, ... but not really ...

When Carlson asked him right from the get-go what the US interest would be in the attack, he said:

"Well, uhh, if, if you care about Israel, you, you're, uhh, ya have to be interested, at least, in, in what's going on in Syria."

Great answer.

The rest of the exceedingly painful 6 minute conversation lays bare how preposterous the rush to war is. Good ol' Roger Wicker couldn't have made the case against war any more convincingly.

Good job Tucker, keep this up and YOU'LL be president.

Now wouldn't that be a turn for better?
