Top Alt-Right Podcast DESTROYS the Russia Hack Story (Again) (Fash the Nation)

This post first appeared on Russia Insider

The weekly Fash the Nation is something of a phenomenon in the podcast world.  It is growing by leaps and bounds, due to two factors - one is the intelligence and talent of the hosts, but as important is that they intepret the week's political events from a new perspective that explains events differently from traditional conservatism.

This segment gives an interesting insight into how the Alt-Right sees Russia.  This is significant, first, because the Alt-Right is a large and rapidly-growing political movement in the US in their own right, but also because their influence far exceeds their numbers due to their outsized presence in social media, and the intellectual depth of their movement.

The following excerpt was part of the full 3 hour show which aired this past weekend.

The whole show was fascinating this week, with a particularly funny discussion of what ever became of Jeb! Bush and how he is likely to spend inauguration day.   It starts at 1.29.28.

For an overview of what the Alt-Right is, where it came from, how large it is, and why it is important, the best and most comprehensive article we have seen was written for RI over the summer.

If you want to understand this new and important phenomenon in US politics, you can do no better than to tune into Fash the Nation to see what all the excitement is about.
