After careful review, it appears that ISIS did not force the US to drop bombs on Mosul, says the Russian MoD

Washington's brilliant excuse for murdering hundreds of Iraqis in Mosul — "ISIS made us do it" — has run into a bit of a snag.
And by "snag" what we really mean is "a very simple question". Not surprisingly, the culprit behind this inquiry is none other than Russia's Defense Ministry, which apparently does not understand that the United States is exceptional and has no use for questions.

The US claims that "ISIS is smuggling civilians into buildings so we won't see them and trying to bait the coalition to attack."
Which begs the question — if they know this, why would they attack?
Have at it, Russian Foreign Ministry:
"First, what are the motives of the American Command putting the veil of confidentiality and keeping secret the crimes of terrorists from the international community? Second, why (did) the US-led coalition, having this information, make strikes with their 'smart' bombs on buildings with civilians dooming them to a terrible death?"
Stop! This is not allowed. And making ironical and disparaging remarks about US smart bombs — have the Russians no shame?
Here's the best part: The heroes in US Congress are now claiming that “if we allow more terrorists to live to fight another day because of this policy [of not bombing buildings full of civilians], then we are actually opening up the opportunity for more civilians to be killed by these terrorists.”
Okay.
That's just the tip of this insane iceberg:
Contrary to allegations, testimony from Gen. Votel confirmed that the U.S. Military continues to operate under ROE established by the Obama Administration. Gen. Votel testified that ISIS is exploiting the United States’ sensitivity to civilian causalities and he shares Rep. McSally’s concern that additional restrictions could lead to more civilians killed by ISIS terrorists.
See? The problem isn't that the US can blow up everyone with impunity — it's that there's simply too much red tape when it comes to dropping bombs on heavily populated cities.
Restrictions for bombing brown people? This is not what the Founding Fathers wanted.
