Pentagon Votes for Hillary by Striking in Syria

The bombing of the Syrian Army positions near the city of Deir ez-Zor by the American Air Force is directly linked to the fierce fight that is going on today in Washington

Two powerful groups of the American establishment are fighting for their future. One of them can be figuratively called “patriots and isolationists”, the other one – “Trotskyists and globalists”.

The first group is interested in saving America from the financial and economic crisis by focusing on ways and means of solving US domestic problems. The second one is interested in doing the same, but by reducing the rest of the world to chaos, attracting funds to Wall Street from areas of instability and war. The fight for the future of American policy is illustrated by the presidential candidates: the first by Donald Trump, the second, by Hillary Clinton.

The strike on Syrian Army positions by the American aviation near Deir ez-Zor on Saturday is not only an act of unprovoked aggression, but a direct breach of the agreement recently concluded through difficult Russian-American talks on Syria. The way this agreement was finally concluded on the part of Americans; the way Secretary of State John Kerry insisted on classifying it; the way Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov warned: “We can’t make these documents available to the public. They contain serious sensitive information. for those who would try to ruin its implementation thwarting humanitarian assistance and other provisions,” – all that signals real disorder in the American leadership.

Obama seems to be dropping the reins of control of his military, allowing them to violate their government’s commitments with a bomb strike, right after the Secretary of State signed the agreement.

It’s a high stakes game in the US, and the defeated side will be eliminated.

The economic crisis, with its $19.5 trillion debt, and an unprecedented split between the main parties – are “markers” of the critical state of society and the economy.

The road after the crossroads, on November 8, 2016 when the new US president is elected, cannot be a happy path. The fork is clear to everyone: either Trump, with his focus on solving America’s domestic problems, returning the US to the world’s Olympus after an 8-10-year hiatus; or Hillary Clinton, seeing America’s future through the lens of the military. There is no third option for America. To perephraze a famous saying, “Bulldogs crawled out of the carpet and came to death grips”.

Today two forces, two visions of an American Future came to grips. The strike on the Syrian Army fits a fading hegemon that still hopes for reanimation via Chaos.

We’ll see how Moscow responds to this episode – after all, our position aligned with that of Obama and Kerry, we simply need to regulate the situation in Syria to end the chaotization of the areas near our borders. However, the worsening squabbles within the USA can be seen as a fairly alarming trend.
