Moscow is famous for its V-Day military parades on Red Square, held on May 9th.

Now it will be also remembered for its ‘civilian parade’, as utility vehicles involved in city services– ambulances, patrol cars, buses, street cleaners, etc., cruised along the Garden Ring last weekend, the first weekend of September, when Moscow celebrates its founding back in 1147.

The column of 863 antique and state-of-the art vehicles stretched for 2 km, making the event eligible for entry into the Guinness Book of World Records.

Admire this bird’s eye view.
