Leaders of Donbass! You Must Not Allow the OSCE to ‘Police’ Your Territory!

They will fool you – take it from a man who knows

The author is a famous Russian writer and extreme left wing political activist.

Last night the Normandy group agreed that OSCE forces in the Donbass should be enhanced, equipped with arms and used as police power that will watch and enforce the observance of Minsk accords. Vladimir Putin agreed, supporting Poroshenko’s offer since it was the Ukrainian President who suggested implementing the police power of the OSCE in the Donbass.

I watched UNPRAFOR forces acting in the Kninskaya Kraina in the Serbian Republic in 1993. (Limonov fought as a volunteer on the side of Serbs there – ed.) They were UN peacekeepers or ‘blue helmets’ as they were called back then. (I repeat, Kninskaya Kraina was a Serbian Republic. Serbs lived there for 500 years surrounded by Croatian settlements. In 1995 Kninskaya Kraina was ruined by Croatian attacks.)

So these blue helmets, UN peacekeepers in Kninskaya Kraina, were a ‘French contingent’. In fact the French ‘naively’ sent soldiers and officers of the French Foreign legion there, most of whom were ethnic Croatians. So-called ‘French peacekeepers’ helped the Croatian side in every possible way against Serbs!

There was a case in which the ‘French people’ gave two armored vehicles with the inscription UNPRAFOR to Croatians. Croatians got in and came up to Serbs and shot them.

I suppose the OSCE unfriendly towards the Russian Donbass will act in the same way.

Russian leaders, listen to an experienced man, don’t agree to let European peacekeepers in the Donbass.

Leaders of the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, don’t let the OSCE forces even show their faces in your territory. They will fool you.
