Where else would so many nationalities live peacefully side by side over many centuries?

Russia is a multicultural country where over a hundred different nationalities have lived side by side over centuries. Some people may wonder how all of them are able to coexist on one territory. Actually, they do so perfectly well. And the best example is Kaliningrad, the Russian enclave in Europe, and one of the most multinational regions of Russia, hosting about 130 different nationalities.
On this occasion they decided to prove their unity by organizing a festival of national cultures: “The Great Russia”. Traditional costumes, authentic food, folk music and other unique features of every nationality was represented in this event. That’s what makes Russia so appealing and diverse!
