Erdogan’s visit to the USA for the Nuclear Security Summit has begun with a scandal involving his security.

When thinking of a president’s body guards, everyone imagines a group of strong, serious men who can protect their president with force or resort to arms if needed. But Turkish presidential security has its own quite unusual ways of protecting their leader.

Don't mess with Erdogan's security!

In the video you can see a group of demonstrantors unsatisfied with Ankara’s politics awaiting Erdogan near his hotel. The protestors began to chant, only to be received by members of Erdogan’s security detail shouting them down! Yes, Erdogan’s security blaring at the protestors to drown them out!

It seems like Erdogan is very open to new methods. Well, at least now we know how effective security guards are supposed to conduct themselves in a civilized country.
