Le Pen destroys the entire worldview of a young reporter in about 45 seconds flat
Whether you agree with her politics or not, you have to applaud Marine Le Pen's motherly patience and understanding when dealing with the press.
Earlier this month, Le Pen had a dainty sit-down with Anderson Cooper, during which she explained — using very small words so Anderson could understand her — that she's a French political leader, and not a groupie at a Putin rock concert.
And now a Twitter-video has emerged of the French presidential candidate explaining "the birds and the bees" to a doe-eyed cub reporter.
Le Pen really cares about young people:
Tenderfoot Journalist: You say turn away from the traditional media. Go find news on the internet. Aren’t you aware that it could be dangerous talking like that?
Le Pen: Why?
Tenderfoot Journalist: On the internet you can find conspiracy theories, all types of things. It’s not necessarily verified information.
Le Pen: Don’t you think that the traditional media have conspiracy theories? I have read a ton of things about Russia interfering in the presidential campaign...It could never be worse than what you guys are saying or what you write in the traditional newspapers...Madam, French people have no confidence in the media whatsoever, are you aware of that or not?
