AP reports that in televised meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan, Vladimir Putin called today's shoot down of a Russian jet "a stab in the back by the terrorists' accomplices". The Russian president said that the action would result in serious consequences for Russia-Turkey relations.
During a meeting with the King Abdullah II of Jordan, Putin said the plane was shot down by a Turkish F-16.
