Neocon Think Tank Wanker Challenges Putin to a Fight

Someone needs to curb-stomp Benjamin Wittes...So it might as well be Putin?

Brookings blowhard and pro-everything awful blogger Benjamin Wittes is like a potent French cheese: In small amounts, strangely delightful; in large quantities, diarrhea-inducing.

Wittes is famous for his completely unreadable blog, "Lawfare". But from time to time he also pens police state erotica, such as "There's a Perfectly Good NSA Defense that the Obama Administration Isn't Making."

Hey, he called Elton John. So maybe he has time to punch Benjamin Wittes in the face?

Given his penchant for creative writing, Ben's latest literary achievement — challenging Putin to a karate duel, on Twitter — is a fitting example of this gentleman's soaring intellect:

Wittes has publicly, repeatedly, challenged Putin to a fight.

"It is real,” he said in an interview Monday. “I am prepared to meet him mano a mano any time, any place he lacks the jurisdiction to have me arrested. Everything else is negotiable. The style, the rules. I’ll work with the Kremlin on that.”

...

“So all I'm saying is this: Man up, dude! Either fight a reasonably well-trained but not especially expert middle aged martial artist in a situation in which he's actually allowed to kick your ass without fear of reprisal, or face condemnation worldwide as a wuss.”

Ben's courageous challenge was retweeted by former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul, and of course, Garry Kasparov.

Hey, Putin called Elton John. So maybe he has time to punch Benjamin Wittes in the face? Fingers crossed!
