In the last days we are witnessing mainly the following events:

  • Shelling by the Ukraine troops on city centers. Every day, despite the ceasefire, we are witnessing the death of nearly a dozen of innocent people.
  • Fighting in the area of the airport of Donetsk has been continuing for days. The area is divided between resistance and Ukrainian Regular Army and National Guard.
  • Reconstruction of key infrastructure in areas such as Donetsk and Luganesk, in anticipation of the impending winter, has restarted. In this sense, the Russian Federation is helping and supporting in the engineering activities.
  • Both sides, fearing a complete end of the ceasefire are progressing in the Fortifications of their area near the so called buffer zone.
Pavel Gubarev, Former Donetsk People Republic Governor. Reports are coming in of an assassination attempt against him.
  • Today we have confirmed news of an assassination attempt one of the leaders of the Republic People from Donetsk: Gubarev Paul. The commander is hospitalized. His conditions are critical.

As previously speculated, the return to large-scale fighting is increasingly likely with a total breakdown of the ceasefire. From both sides their is a growing unwillingness to respect the agreements in Minsk September 19. The main reasons are:

  • Shelling and Civilian casualties has never stopped.
  • Some areas near the buffer-zone, under the control of Ukrainian continue to have the desire to reunify with the Resistance territories.
  • Some private oligarchs continue to fund the neo-Nazis, members of the punitive battalions.
