This Russian television segment gives an insight into the significance and place Sevastopol has for Russians.
The city, strategically significant to today, has been the scene of countless military struggles that formed and shaped Russian history, much of it a cemetery for the men who valiantly stood and fought to the last.
To Russians, Sevastopol is simply the city of heroes.
