Russia has the world’s biggest portfolio of orders for the construction of nuclear power plants abroad, which totals $300 billion, Sergey Kiriyenko, the director of the state atomic energy corporation Rosatom said on Friday at a meeting with the country's president, Vladimir Putin.
"We have orders for 30 nuclear power-generating units in twelve countries," he said. "I mean the agreements that have already been signed and have firm guarantees."
"Another ten projects are in the phase of negotiations and discussions," Kiriyenko said.
"This is the biggest portfolio of orders in the world," he said.
