War on Terror Is a Joke - Pics of ISIS Fighters at McDonald's ... in Turkey

ISIS moves freely between Syria and Turkey, where they receive weapons, medical care and hamburgers. We thought NATO was "fighting" terrorism?

Neo-con weirdo Michael Weiss continues to thrill the Internet with his exclusive Daily Beast series, "Confessions of an ISIS Spy — P.S. Russia is Evil". Probably none of it is true, but it's a fun read. Here's a short synopsis for people who are too wise to read anything with a Michael Weiss byline: Weiss interviewed a dude who says he defected from the Islamic State's "intelligence service" — and this dude has major scoops!

We will focus on one particular part of this ISIS spy's "confession"

He also found it remarkable that, for all the many months of the siege of Kobani, ISIS fighters came and went as they pleased across the Syrian-Turkish border. The second-largest army in NATO stationed soldiers, tanks, and armored personnel carriers was within spitting distance of one of the most intense war zones of the Syria conflict and did virtually nothing, apart from sometimes firing water cannons at Kurds trying to flee into Turkey.

“I don’t know the relationship between ISIS and Turkey,” Abu Khaled said. “During the Kobani war, shipments of weapons arrived to ISIS from Turkey. Until now, the gravely wounded go to Turkey, shave their beards, cut their hair, and go to the hospital. Somebody showed me pictures in Kobani. You see ISIS guys eating McDonald’s french fries and hamburgers. Where did they get it? In Turkey.

Aside from the extraordinary hamburger revelation, none of this is news. As Business Insider reported back in June

A US-led raid on the compound housing the Islamic State's "chief financial officer" produced evidence that Turkish officials directly dealt with ranking ISIS members, Martin Chulov of the Guardian reported recently.

The officer killed in the raid, Islamic State official Abu Sayyaf, was responsible for directing the terror army's oil and gas operations in Syria. The Islamic State (aka ISIS, ISIL, or Daesh) earns up to $10 million a month selling oil on black markets.

Documents and flash drives seized during the Sayyaf raid reportedly revealed links "so clear" and "undeniable" between Turkey and ISIS "that they could end up having profound policy implications for the relationship between us and Ankara," senior Western official familiar with the captured intelligence told the Guardian.

NATO member Turkey has long been accused by expertsKurds, and even Joe Biden of enabling ISIS by turning a blind eye to the vast smuggling networks of weapons and fighters during the ongoing Syrian war.

As you can clearly see, Turkey isn't just letting nasty beef patties flow across its borders — there's also a lot of "black market oil" and "weapons" and "wounded terrorists" that somehow seem to move between Syria and Turkey without any major hiccups. Coincidence or fate?

Turkey — a NATO member — has been repeatedly caught providing direct and indirect aid to ISIS...so how is this not on the front page of every major western newspaper? Isn't NATO supposed to be "fighting" terrorism? Here's how NATO describes its glorious anti-terror campaign

  • NATO invoked its self-defence Article 5 for the first time in response to the terrorist attacks of 9/11 on the United States.
  • As NATO’s immediate response operation, Active Endeavour has been established to deter, detect and, if necessary, disrupt the threat of terrorism in the Mediterranean Sea.
  • NATO can provide assistance in securing major public events that might attract the interest of terrorists.
  • NATO develops new capabilities and technologies to tackle the terrorist threat and to manage the consequences of a terrorist attack.

And yet, NATO continues to look the other way as terrorists flood into Syria with weapons and hamburgers. But at least Turkey is getting some sweet deals on black market oil?

The war on terror is a joke.
