You've done well!
You've done well!

It has now become a matter of self-defense to tune out the media here in the States. Things continue to boil, with the words "civil war" being bantered about more and more.

We’ll Know Our Disinformation Program Is Complete When Everything the American Public Believes Is False.” - William Casey, CIA Director 1981-1987

Well done, chaps. Appears you've nearly done it.

From one miracle of journalism of nonsense to the next, the American public can drink deeply from the barrel of mainstream media lies offered up each day. One might find pockets of free-thinking individuals who seek the truth and don't believe the torrent of daily media guano—but they are an increasingly endangered species.

David Kupelian, the author of “The Snapping Of The American Mind“, also sees the life or death struggle for the future of our culture…

Compared with the shining and vibrant nation it once was, today’s America has become a different country: deeply and angrily divided, unable to deal with crises foreign or domestic, the world’s greatest debtor nation with 50 million people on food stamps, rampant divorce and family breakdown, unprecedented sexual anarchy with 110 million with STDs, almost 60 million abusing alcohol and 70 million taking mood-altering drugs. On so many levels, America is becoming ever more “bizarro” – diametrically opposed to logic and common sense.

All these depressing statistics could cause one to concur with H.L. Mencken’s observation…”the fact is that most of man’s thinking is stupid, pointless and injurious to him. Of all animals, indeed, he seems the least capable of arriving at accurate judgments in the matters that most desperately affect his welfare.”

Consider the following stupidity from Newsweek/Quora Question: Why Did Russia Mess With Our Presidential Election?

"The Russians are masterful manipulators of other nations’ centers of gravity. Vladimir Putin wakes up every morning looking forward to a new day of fomenting disorientation and discord throughout Western governments. You have to remember that Putin, like so many Russian/Soviet leaders before him, plays the long-game; he has all the time in the world (relative to the West’s election cycles and ever-changing executive and legislative officials) to push, probe, violate, incite, worry, gnaw at and undercut the opposition’s confidence at all levels of democratic society."

Mercy of God! First the obvious: there still is no proof guys, after what, day 3000 of the investigation? And then—Putin wakes up every morning will bad intent, "fomenting disorientation and discord"? What is this rot? Perhaps the author extraordinaire of this piece of Pulitzer Prize writing material might want to do a bit more research and spend less time reading Hardy Boys' Mysteries.

We could point the author to ConsortiumNews.com and Ms. Natylie Baldwin's excellent and comprehensive piece from October, 2016, "Russia's Very Different Reality", or any offerings from this fine website, or even reading what Mr. Putin himself has said for the past 17 years, but we're not sure of any these clowns can grasp reality or cast their glance from a thesaurus with gems like "push, probe, violate, incite, worry, gnaw" used to describe some sort of fictitious, nefarious ideas Mr. Putin eats with his morning breakfast.

As Dr. Paul Craig Roberts writes in his recent article: "Vladimir Putin: The Most Powerful Person In The World"

Former CIA official John Stockwell wrote: “It is the function of the CIA to keep the world unstable, and to propagandize and teach the American people to hate, so we will let the Establishment spend any amount of money on arms.”

The hatred and distrust of Russia that the West is currently being force-fed reflects Stockwell’s revelation, as does the orchestrated hatred and distrust of Muslims that has supported Washington’s destruction in whole or part of seven countries and trillions of dollars in new US war debt.

One thing (among many) understood from "The Putin Interviews" is that Mr. Putin appears to be one of the few leaders who understands what Mr. Roberts writes:

"For Russia, there is not and there may not be another political option but democracy. However, Russian democracy is... not at all the realization of standards imposed on us from outside." ~ Vladimir Putin
