From an American Who Rides the St. Petersburg Metro

Today there is very sad news from St Petersburg – a bomb explosion in the metro has killed and wounded many innocents. Although the cause and motive of the explosion is still under investigation, we can safely assume that this destructive attack was committed by entities that are motivated, focused and aiming to accrue advantage to themselves from a consciousness of fear, hate and destruction above other forms of thinking, feeling and acting.

From my higher education studies, my professional career and during trips to Russia over the past year I have learned that the Russian people are quite hardy and enlightened when dealing with and overcoming periods of fear, hate and destruction. So, in February 2017 I elected to travel as a tourist to St Petersburg Russia for a few months to distance myself from another different form of fear, hate and destruction that has been growing unchecked for quite some time in Washington and throughout the United States.

The Clintons hacked the Democratic Political Machine to ensure the candidacy of Hillary over Bernie, yet half of Democratic supporters prefer to focus the majority of their disappointment, outrage and energy on the idea that their candidate lost because of reasons other than failed national and international policies, constitutional violations and ethical rot that permeates centers of politics, finance and media throughout the United States. Currently many powerful factions of the Deep State are scraping the bottom of the consciousness barrel to use very flawed and very outdated thinking in destructive attacks on the winner of the last national election. Quite simply they are motivated, focused and aiming to accrue advantage to themselves from a consciousness of fear, hate and destruction above other forms of thinking, feeling and acting.

Like most citizens of my country I was surprised by the campaign and election of Trump to lead our country for the next four years. Whether the electorate knows it or not, they got what they deserved and what they asked for in the Executive Branch of the U.S. Government: entities that are motivated, focused and aiming to accrue advantage to themselves from a consciousness of fear, hate and destruction above other forms of thinking, feeling and acting.

Today family and friends have been sending me messages asking me if I am well and how are things here in St Petersburg. My answer is that the sadness of the situation is permeating and palpable and well understood. Although the cause and motive of the explosion is still under investigation, we can safely assume that this destructive attack was committed by entities that are motivated, focused and aiming to accrue advantage to themselves from a consciousness of fear, hate and destruction above other forms of thinking, feeling and acting.

Now I have the same question to send back to family, friends and fellow citizens in the United States… are you well and how are things back home? Have you finally realized the root cause of your local, national and international problems? Is the sadness of your situation permeating and palpable and well understood? Do you understand it comes from entities that are motivated, focused and aiming to accrue advantage to themselves from a consciousness of fear, hate and destruction above other forms of thinking, feeling and acting?

Finally, for the Executive and Legislative Branches of the U.S. Government and their corporate and financial masters, this is yet another opportunity to reflect on the words of Jefferson and alter your ways while you still have time: “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
