Interest in Belarus, a former republic of the USSR which borders with Poland, the Baltics, and Ukraine, is growing, due to its surprising economic success, social equality and cohesion.  Russian stores are chock-full of Belarussian products of good quality and competitive prices.

Belarus chose to stay close to Russia, and therefore provides a striking contrast to the Ukraine, by far the most miserable country in Europe.
